A quote goes well to start my post. It’s not that I strongly agree with Bob (close kame? Ha-ha!); not this age, that just by sitting for too long will cause me cramps and pain. So yeah! This age, we try to avoid long travel time as much as possible.
But we’re making an excuse for this year and will take the risk travelling 5 hours (approximately) after an hour in a plane, a roughly 6 hour journey; praying, hoping it will be worth it.
ABOUT THE PARADISE
Perth Beach Resort is one of Sipalay’s treasures. As this paradise resort is now one of the most photographed resorts in Negros Occidental; famous in having a stunning infinity pool with picturesque view. Need I say more? Aside from—yes it is indeed a paradise!
The paradise is near the water but has no shoreline, beach bummers—pls. take note. They do have a floating pavilion and the incredible backdrop of islets are equally awing.
OUR ROOM
Equipped with air-condition, 1 double bed and 1 single bed the 2500PHP/night room is basically good for three persons. Breakfast is not included.
Having the best view of the resort, our standard room which is conveniently located beside the infinity pool is all worth the price.
GETTING HERE
• From Silay Airport head to South Bus Terminal (30mns) van= 150 PHP/pax
• Ride a bus (5hrs) 265 PHP/pax or Van (4hrs) 250 PHP/pax bound Sipalay or Hinobaan
• From Sipalay ride a tricyle going to the resort 200PHP/one way = 100 PHP/pax per way.

RATES & OTHER EXPENSES
Their in-house resto have limited choices of food. Budget meals & breakfast meals ranges from 150PHP to 190PHP. Viand that cost 250PHP is good for 2-3 persons. Not sure how strict they are about the 500PHP corkage, but they do charge a 150PHP delivery fee from the resto to your room.
MS. PROMDI TIPS:
- The pool is not as big as you see in pictures.. what we did is wake up early in the morning (while other guests are sleeping) and take good shots. 😉😉😉
- If climbing is not your thing. Their standard rooms beside the pool have the best location. Book it.
- If you fail to book their standard room, go for the floating cottages instead.
- Oh! Don’t forget to visit the resorts roofdeck and take one of the best sunset silhouette shot.
- The food, the room and almost everything is good for 2-3 person. Go in groups.
Perth Paradise Resort
The pool, the sunset, sunrise, the scenery—is all relaxing enough after a long travel. It may not worth the cramps and pain for all, but it surely was for us.
